If you’d like a tax receipt letter, e-mail admin@underthestars.org.nz with your full name and address. If you have set up a recurring payment, we will send out a single receipt for the amount received over the financial year at the end of the period.

Donate time or items

While we need money to buy ingredients and provide other support to our guests, we are always thankful to receive items that will support our guests. These include:

• Toiletries- toothbrushes, toothpaste, roll-on deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soap, insect repellent, sunscreen, wet wipes.

• New underwear (range of sizes in both men and women, but especially L-XXL men’s).

• Non-perishable food items- ring-tab canned food such as tuna or baked beans, instant noodles/soup, chips, crackers, drinks (I.E up and go), biscuits or sweet ‘treats’.

• Sanitary items, tents, sleeping bags, razors, dog/cat food, milo, coffee, sugar, baking and meal ingredients.
